Description
Geranium is the natural palette’s principal rose note. It gives perfumers a clear, green-edged floral at a fraction of what the true flower costs, and it is used both in its own right and as an extender where a formula cannot carry rose alone.
In composition
It works as a heart note and a floraliser, typically at a few percent, and it holds up in soap and detergent bases where more delicate florals collapse. Fine fragrance, personal care and functional perfumery all buy it.
Enquiring
Trade descriptions vary between plain geranium and rose geranium, so state which your specification uses, with the volume, at Request a Quote. Background at Fragrance & Perfumery. Where a trade description is ambiguous the specification carries the detail — specification before quotation. Origin context is in what origin means in practice.
