Botanical ingredients for food and beverage manufacturers, blenders and flavour houses.
Ingredient families for this sector
Food and beverage buyers work mainly from dried plant material and culinary aromatics, with distilled materials used where a flavour is carried in an oil or a water.

Essential Oils
Moroccan essential oils supplied in bulk to fragrance, cosmetic, food and aromatherapy manufacturers. Every oil is quoted against a specification agreed at enquiry rather than offered from a fixed list, because the profile a buyer needs follows from the formulation it is going into.

Dried Herbs
Moroccan dried herbs supplied in bulk to herbal, food, beverage and cosmetic manufacturers. Cut, cleanliness and presentation do more to determine whether a consignment is usable than the name on the invoice, so those are agreed against your process before a quotation is issued.
Procurement considerations
- Grade and cut. Whole, cut or powdered materially changes handling, extraction and shelf life.
- Moisture and foreign matter. Both are normal specification points for dried botanicals and should be stated in the enquiry.
- Food-contact handling. How material is handled and packed for food use is agreed as part of the specification.
- Origin and traceability. Where the material was grown or gathered is confirmed per consignment.
- Documentation. What can accompany a food-grade consignment is ingredient-specific and confirmed at enquiry.
