Description
Three different articles come off the bitter orange tree and they are routinely confused on purchase orders. Neroli is distilled from the blossom; orange blossom absolute is drawn from the same blossom by another route; petitgrain comes from the leaves and twigs. The prices are not comparable and neither are the profiles.
Where it is used
Neroli is a pillar of classic cologne and remains one of the costliest florals in fine fragrance, with a secondary market in luxury personal care. Inclusion rates are correspondingly small.
Enquiring
Confirm which of the three your formulation needs before volume is discussed, at Request a Quote. The leaf material is listed separately as Dried Orange Leaves. Three articles from one tree is a specification problem before it is a pricing one — how identity and process are recorded. Blossom harvest timing is covered in harvest windows and origin.
