Description
Atlas cedarwood is a base-note material and a natural fixative. It opens dry and pencil-sharp, settles into something creamier and balsamic, and holds in a composition for a long time — which is why it is used as much to anchor other materials as for its own character.
Where it is used
It is a standing item in masculine fine fragrance, in soap and candle perfumery and in personal care. Its tenacity and cost position make it workable at inclusion levels the finer woods cannot reach.
Sourcing
MyHerbSupply’s sourcing regions include the Atlas regions alongside Larache. No claim is made here about the origin of any particular consignment; that is confirmed at enquiry. See Sourcing in Morocco, then Request a Quote. Fixative work tends to mean standing volume, which how quantities are quoted addresses, while traceability back to the harvest covers how a delivery is tied back to its source.
