Description
Rosemary oil is bought by chemotype, not by name. The cineole, camphor and verbenone families smell different, behave differently in a base and suit different applications, so an order that says only “rosemary oil” has not yet described what is wanted.
Applications
The material is used across personal care and hair care, in functional and aromatic fragrance work, and in food where the profile allows. Which chemotype a buyer specifies usually follows directly from which of those it is going into.
Enquiring
Tell us the chemotype your specification calls for, with the volume, through Request a Quote. If the profile is still open, describe the application and we will work back from it. Related: Cosmetics & Personal Care. Chemotype belongs in the specification rather than on the label, and what a specification covers sets out how that is agreed. The growing conditions behind the profile are described in Moroccan origin and growing conditions.
