Description
Lavender is graded before it is priced. Culinary material and craft or sachet material are separated on de-stemming, colour and the proportion of clean bud, so a specification naming only “dried lavender” leaves the most important variable open.
Applications
Blending for tea and infusion, cosmetic and bath formulation, sachet and home-fragrance filling, and extraction. Buyers working towards ingestion and buyers working towards appearance tend to pull in opposite directions on the same lot.
