Description
Mint reaches the market as spearmint or peppermint, and in dried leaf the difference shows in the cup as plainly as it does in an oil. Morocco’s nana spearmint is a long-established export in its own right, bought by tea blenders on cut, colour and aroma strength rather than on weight alone.
Formats and parameters
Tea-bag cut, cut-and-sifted and whole leaf are different articles. Alongside the cut, a working specification usually settles sieve size, moisture, stem content and cleanliness parameters.
Enquiring
Species, cut and quantity are the three things worth naming in a first enquiry — Request a Quote. Tea and infusion buyers may also want Food & Beverage. The distilled oil is a separate listing: Mint Essential Oil. Cut and packing format are settled together with quantity, as set out in how bulk quantities and packing are agreed. Harvest timing for Moroccan leaf is covered under origin and seasonality.
